Your profound words, "God wants to hold you before He heals you.", have gripped me. With some fear and trembling I have asked my Father, "What do you want to do in me in 2012? What healing do you have for me?" Thank you Marissa for listening to and graciously following the voice of your Daddy!! You definitely are one of His favorite little girls! Oh how I love the word "Father" but there was a time I couldn't even say that word. Long conversations with my Heavenly Father are now a delight to my heart and His. I believe as long as we are passing through life on earth there will be a deeper level of healing until finally face to face we know Him as we are known. Thank you for this story. Ris - THANK YOU! I am seeing a Freedom Counselor and I pray "whatever" it is that's holding me back comes out SOON! It's driving me crazy! As per my Counselor, I apparently have such trauma from my childhood that my subconscious just doesn't want to let it go! I have seen him I think, 8 times and I feel like there isn't any progress yet. He does, but I don't. I experience such weird feelings and withdrawals every time I try to even think about the process.
